My Love for Clay and Owls
Many people recognise my work through my owl sculptures. Each owl is individually hand-built, layered, and textured to give it its own personality and expression. I do not use moulds. Every feather is shaped by hand. Every eye carries character. Some look wise, some curious, some slightly cheeky — and that is what I love most about them. My work is inspired by nature, earth tones, and organic texture. I am drawn to the raw beauty of clay — its warmth, its honesty, and its ability to hold emotion. The owls have become a signature part of my artwork because they symbolise wisdom, calmness, and quiet observation — qualities I believe pottery teaches us. When you join my workshop, I share not just techniques, but the philosophy behind my work — patience, presence, and allowing the clay to guide you.

A Workshop for Everyone – No Experience Required
You do not need any prior experience to join. Many of my guests have never touched clay before. What matters is curiosity and a willingness to try something new. Our workshops are held in a relaxed and welcoming studio environment. We sit together around the table, shaping clay, chatting, laughing, and gradually watching each piece come to life. It’s not rushed. It’s not intimidating. It’s creative, calming, and deeply rewarding.
You will learn:

- How to give your piece personality
Some guests choose to create their own owl, while others explore different forms. Every piece is unique — just like the person who made it.

During the workshop, we provide tea and a light lunch so you can relax and fully enjoy the experience. Many guests tell me it becomes one of the most memorable parts of their stay. Workshops are available with prior booking to ensure a calm and personalised experience. Group sizes are kept small so that I can guide and support each participant individually. The atmosphere is friendly, warm, and welcoming. I truly enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and seeing how creativity brings everyone together around the table.
